The vast property that would be vacated by the oil depot in Pandacan area in Manila could be used an area for a commercial zone, a hospital or a school, Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim said Friday as he revived a city plan to relocate the oil depot.
Lim said the city government would probably be converting the 10-hectare area into a commercial area once the oil depot leaves the place.
“We can develop that as a commercial zone or put up a hospital or school over there to serve the interest of the residents,” Lim said during an interview with ABS-CBN News.
