Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim is eyeing a ban on the entry of provincial buses to the city, particularly those coming from the southern part of Luzon, radio dzMM reported Monday.
Lim said the local government is eyeing a ban on buses coming from Cavite and Southern Luzon to ease traffic in the city. He said the ban could be imposed after the second semester of classes pending a discussion with bus operators.
He proposed that buses ferry commuters to existing bus terminals in Pasay City. He said the local government will work for a shuttle service from Pasay to Manila.
