In answer to the growing business process outsourcing (BPO) industry in the country, Araneta Center is developing its own Cyber Park as part of its 20-year major redevelopment plan.

The Cyber Park, which is poised to become the busiest technology hub due to its prime location, takes up eight hectares of prime space at the heart of the Araneta Center, consisting of modern four-to-six storey office buildings.

Araneta Center Cyber Park recently welcomed its first tenant, APAC Customer Services, Inc., which started operations last March.

APAC is a provider of integrated customer care and acquisition services. The 2,000-seat call center is the first building in the Cyber Park and is the company’s second site in the country.

APAC is the second BPO to take up offices at the Araneta Center, the first one being Accenture, a major player in the BPO industry with over 100,000 employees worldwide. Accenture has offices at the Gateway Tower.

Meanwhile, another BPO giant has made Araneta Center its home. Advanced Contact Solutions, Inc. opened its sixth call center in the country at the Old Rustans Superstore Building last June.
